Kira Sumeragi (皇 綺羅, Sumeragi Kira) is a member of HE★VENS, at first a three-person, then seven-person, boy band group under Raging Entertainment. He is voiced by Daisuke Ono (小野 大輔, Ono Daisuke).
Appearance
Kira is a tall young man with black hair that is parted to the right, and eyes which have a light yellowish tint.
Personality
Kira is a man of few words, and very seldom smiles or laughs. However, this does not necessarily mean he is cold or shy; he is simply very calculating, and spends a lot of time thinking about what it is he wants to say. Because of his quiet demeanor and perpetual neutral expression, Kira is often perceived by others as being unkind or disinterested, something he has admitted to being self-conscious about. Kira states that he finds it difficult to convey his emotions simply through speaking, which is why he turns to music to help him express himself better. He is also known to be very aware of his surroundings and very honest with others.
History
In season 4, Kira reveals that his father had originally opposed the idea of him becoming an idol. However, Kira willingly allowed his father to disown him so that he could continue his pursuit of music, suggesting that music is one of the most important things, if not the most important, in his life.
